| Although not produced by the Northern Maine Museum of Science,
the Irving Forest Products Forest Discovery Box has recently
joined our library. This kit is a combination of information
and hands-on items that explore forest management. Irving Forest
Products Division offers these educational kits free to schools
throughout Maine and New Brunswick. Kit includes videos, samples
of cones, wood products, seeds, pamphlets, posters, and a teacher
guidebook. Irving will soon issue an update to this trunk that
aligns activities and lessons with the Maine State Learning
Results guidelines. |
